Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to expand our wholesale and retail sales of rice. The role involves developing strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and restaurants while also supporting in-store sales growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with strong negotiation skills and a passion for food products.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new wholesale and retail sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients (grocery stores, restaurants, distributors).
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive selling.
• Negotiate pricing, prepare quotations, and close deals with clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
• Work with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns.
• Provide feedback to management on product demand and customer needs.
• Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in food/FMCG or grocery sector.
• Strong knowledge of UK wholesale and retail markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
• IT literacy (CRM tools, MS Office, POS systems).
• Full UK driving licence (preferred, for client visits).
